How we help
Six ways we help communities, landowners and partners get workforce housing built faster, for less, and with neighbors on board.
Development partner for small-scale and factory-built communities
We assemble and lead the team (factory-built or manufactured home supplier, builder, engineer and local partners) to take a project from idea to move-in. Built for small manufactured and modular home communities, ADU clusters, cottage courts, small multifamily and middle housing, for rent or for sale. These are often projects under a dozen homes. They're too small for large developers and for many modular factories, and they're exactly where we focus.
- Feasibility, site planning and predevelopment studies
- Team assembly and management, including design-build partnerships
- Entitlements, subdivision maps and environmental review
- Coordinating delivery and installation of pre-designed factory-built and manufactured homes
- Owner's representation through construction
- For-sale projects: HOA formation, state real estate filings, and preparing homes for sale to income-qualified buyers
Factory-built housing advisory
Most factory-built products aren't designed for mountain conditions. We know which ones can be.
We work with a network of factory-built and tiny home manufacturers, from California to Montana, so we can match the right product to each site, budget and snow load.
- Manufacturer selection and vetting (financial stability, snow load engineering, track record)
- Matching products to site, climate and local code
- Procurement, contracts, delivery and set coordination
ADU programs for communities
We help towns, counties and housing organizations launch programs that get ADUs built, drawing on our experience guiding 80+ homeowners.
- ADU program design and launch
- Homeowner technical assistance, from first call to move-in
- Funding and financing strategy for homeowners
- Pre-approved and factory-built ADU pathways
Community engagement and communications
Housing projects succeed or stall on public support. We bring years of experience in county government, public outreach, media and communications.
- Public outreach plans for housing projects and programs
- Community meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement
- Messaging, media relations and project communications
- Building support with neighbors, elected officials and partners
Housing strategy and policy
Practical strategy for the places and organizations trying to house their workforce.
- Housing strategies for towns, counties and special districts
- Zoning and code review to remove barriers to ADUs and middle housing
- Grant and funding strategy for housing projects
- Workforce housing solutions for employers

Churches, school districts, nonprofits and employers often own land that could house local workers. We help them see what's possible and get it built.
